The paper examines the primary improvements in design and integrated contracts brought by the revision of the Public Procurement Code, as outlined in Legislative Decree n. 36/2023. After presenting a comparison of the old and new iterations, the paper seeks to address whether the new regulatory framework is adequate for implementing two essential principles introduced by the new Code: the ‘principle of result’ and the principle of trust.
