The article reconstructs, in the context of the European Union principle-value of cohesion established by the TFEU and European legislation, the trajectory of the digital dimension. From this perspective, the multiple opinions of the European Committee of the Regions that have contributed to the progressive elaboration of the concept are examined. Finally, the connection between digital cohesion and the criterion of “do no harm to cohesion” (DNHC) is highlighted.
