The new Article 6 of the Public Contracts Code requires a rethinking of the methods of exercising administrative power. In addition to the conventional administrative model, which distinguishes between public authorities and citizens as passive recipients of decisions, the paradigm of shared administration is gaining significance, marked by initiatives and organised forms of private involvement in the stewardship of the public interest. In this context, particular attention deserves the role of Third Sector Entities. Collaboration between public administrations and Third Sector Entities is achieved through the tools of co-programming, co-design and accreditation, which are today governed, albeit in essential terms, by the Third Sector Code.
